For World Mental Health Day we’ve collaborated with embroidery artist and designer Emily June to bring you a series of uplifting mantras you can stitch as part of your own self-care or to encourage loved ones. In this design, the word Brave is surrounded by floral elements and a cheetah which represent bravery in all its forms. Using DMC Six-Strand Embroidery Floss and Diamant, stitch the design onto cushion covers, tote bags and clothing. Our clear patterns and quality supplies make it easy for you to complete your project. Colorfast and fade resistant DMC floss keep stitches looking vibrant for generations to come.
Emily June is a self-taught embroidery artist who began embroidering in 2016 when she was battling a severe anxiety disorder. She found embroidery to be calming, rewarding, and the perfect outlet for her creativity. With a background in Illustration and Design, Emily opened her shop with the desire to introduce others to the magical world of embroidery and to open the conversation surrounding mental health. Her work is inspired by nature, fantasy, and her love of people.
