About

Originally painted at some point between 1907-1908, Klimt produced this oil-on-canvas painting during the height of what scholars call his ‘Golden Period’. Klimt also added gold leaf, silver and platinum to his painting.

This kit includes everything you need to recreate a section of The Kiss in thread. It contains Mouliné Spécial threads on an organiser​, 14-count Aida fabric, backing card, a needle and easy-to-follow instructions.

Gustav Klimt was an Austrian Symbolist painter and a prominent member of the Vienna Art Nouveau (Vienna Secession) movement. His most famous works include paintings, murals, sketches, and other art objects, many of which you can find on display in the Vienna Secession gallery.
