About
Our retro style tapestry canvas designs are printed on penelope double weave 10 point canvas. Traditionally stitched using half stitch and tapestry wool you can also use DMC Soft Cotton for a more contemporary matte look or size 3 Coton Perlé if you like the lustre of mercerised thread. If you enjoy finer threads you can even cross stitch on the canvas using Mouline Special.
The canvas can be purchased alone or with the appropriate amount of DMC Tapestry Wool, Soft Cotton, Coton Perlé or Mouliné Spécial.
Margot de Paris and SEG de Paris are some of France's longest established brands of Tapestry Canvases known for their precision and even finish. We have many other Margot de Paris and SEG de Paris canvas designs in our range.
