About

Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen created this lithograph in 1896 for Le Chat Noir, the famed cabaret in the Parisian neighborhood of Montmartre.

This kit includes everything you need to recreate the iconic design: Mouliné Spécial threads on an organiser, 14-count Aida fabric, a needle and easy-to-follow instructions.

Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen was a Swiss-born French Art Nouveau painter and printmaker. He was politically engaged and collaborated with the anarchist and socialist press.
